Job DescriptionJob Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OnPrem and Cloud Windows Administrator to join our IT team in Bangalore The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Windows environments both onpremises and in the cloud This role requires a deep understanding of Windows systems cloud platforms and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize performanceKey ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Windows servers in both onpremises and cloud environmentsMonitor system performance ensure system availability and reliabilityPerform regular system updates patches and security configurationsImplement and manage backup and recovery solutionsCollaborate with development teams to support application deployment and maintenanceAutomate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShellEnsure compliance with security policies and proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issuesDocument system configurations processes and proceduresProvide technical support and guidance to junior team membersRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field7 10 years of experience in Windows system administrationProficiency in managing Windows servers Windows Server 201220162019 in both onpremises and cloud environments AWS AzureStrong knowledge of networking concepts protocols and services DNS DHCP TCPIPExperience with configuration management tools Ansible Puppet ChefFamiliarity with virtualization technologies HyperV VMwareExcellent problemsolving skills and attention to detailStrong scripting skills PowerShellAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and documentation skillsPreferred QualificationsRelevant certifications MCSE AWS Certified SysOps Administrator etcExperience with cloud migration projectsKnowledge of database administration SQL ServerExperience with monitoring tools Nagios Zabbix Prometheus
